Panola County Solutions Report
With the leadership and guidance of our Board, Executive Committee, and Advisory Committees, we are hard at work to serve East Texas and provide regional solutions. This report offers information and stats on how we served the community in the Fiscal Year 2025 (October 1 - September 30) through our service agencies. It has been our pleasure to serve Panola County!
Grants Allocated
$810.4K in grants were funded within the county to help build strong communities, improve public safety, and/or minimize solid waste
Public Safety
$75.2K was invested to strengthen the 9-1-1 system, along with other public safety initiatives
Senior Services
537 seniors received services through our Area Agency on Aging to meet the social, nutritional, educational, and logistic needs of residents
Transportation
2,190 public transit trips were provided through GoBus to help residents get to where they need to go
Workforce Development
629 job seekers and employers were served by Workforce Solutions East Texas, and $1.17M went to families within the county to subsize their child care

Senior Services
ETCOG administers the Area Agency on Aging of East Texas, utilizing state and federal funding to help seniors with information and referral assistance, benefits counseling, legal assistance, care coordination and caregiver support. We also coordinate in-home support, legal awareness, nutrition and ombudsman services.
