New County Solutions Reports and Membership Dues Statements Released for 2021

On behalf of the board and staff of ETCOG, I wanted to express our deepest gratitude for your continued membership, support, and partnership with us. Due to the pandemic, our region’s jurisdictions, organizations, and workers have been impacted on a scale rarely, if ever seen before. Because of your continued support during this past year, ETCOG has been able to:
- Seek and secure funding for a Regional Disaster Recovery Coordinator to help our members access COVID-19 relief
- Enhance our programs to benefit more seniors through the Area Agency on Aging
- Provide funding support and access to funding opportunities, technical assistance, and guidance to struggling businesses
- Provide resources and training to the thousands of jobless individuals through our workforce centers
- Launch our Regional Broadband Strategic Planning project
- Position our GoBus staff to serve on the front lines throughout the pandemic, transporting East Texas residents to where they need to go safely
- Roll out equipment upgrades across the region’s dispatch centers to improve the 9-1-1 system
It is hard to believe ETCOG has been proudly serving you and our entire region since 1970, marking its 50th anniversary during this past year. In addition to the highlights listed above, our staff remains committed to delivering needed solutions to all our members.
Last week we mailed membership dues statements for 2021 with a new Solutions Report that sets forth a summary snapshot of results delivered through ETCOG within your county during the Fiscal Year 2020. If you have any questions about the annual membership dues process or any feedback regarding your experience with ETCOG, please contact me by telephone (903) 218-6400 or email at David.Cleveland@etcog.org.
Thank you once again for your commitment to ETCOG. We look forward to serving you and the East Texas region for the next 50 years!
Sincerely,
David Cleveland
Executive Director
