Technical Assistance

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is currently soliciting for projects and supporting information relating to Green Projects seeking financial assistance from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program.

The ARRA sets aside 20% of the anticipated $160 million allocated to the TWDB’s DWSRF program for Green Reserve Projects. Any entity may submit a new green project. In order for the TWDB to identify potential applicants and to assist entities with filling out the IUP project solicitation forms, we invite you to distribute this information to your clients and/or members whom you think may be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity. Click on the TWDB website at, for guidance regarding Green Project information.

The deadline for submitting the Green Project information for the ARRA Intended Use Plan will be by the close of business, Monday, June 1, 2009. Thank you very much for your attention to this request, and your continued interest in the ARRA program. Should you have any questions, please call Minerva Regalado at 512-936-0800 or email
