ETCOG’s Housing Program intends to apply for the USDA-RD’s Housing Preservation Grant to assist very-low and low income homeowners, located in Cherokee and Anderson County, with necessary renovations to improve the basic livability of the home, as well as repairs to items affecting health, safety and increase the ability to function effectively in the home. Examples include: roof and drainage, electrical, fire and smoke protection, plumbing and fixtures, heating, ramps, and widening doors.
