Participate in the Public Safety Bucket Drive!

During Hurricane Harvey, 9-1-1 dispatchers and public safety responders had to remain in their police, fire and EMS stations to provide a life-saving service to their communities. Unfortunately, during this time many of them lost their homes or have damage to their property.

Texas Public Safety Assistance Centers (PSACs) are actively collecting recovery supplies for our public safety disaster affected families for locations in Houston and Beaumont. The Houston and Beaumont PSACs are open and need supplies.

Please help us assist those that serve their communities every day. Supplies will allow our public safety families to begin the rebuilding process. Here is how you can help. We need buckets filled with items that have been identified below.

Cleaning 5 Gallon Bucket Toiletries 5 Gallon Bucket 
dish soap
all-purpose cleaner
bleach cleaning wipes
spray bottle
insect repellent
rubber dish washing gloves
scrub brush
six dust masks

personal wipes
dry shampoo

First Aid 5 Gallon Bucket Socks / Underwear 5 Gallon Bucket

antibiotic ointment
hydrogen peroxide
cleansing wipes
rash cream
itch cream
eye drops

new, packaged underwear 
new, packaged socks
(any sizes, child/adult)


Snack 5 Gallon Bucket
non-perishable snacks
peanut butter
dry/powdered milk
dry cereal
assorted drinks (not water)


We also need water hoses, extension cords, mops, brooms and dust pans.

Please drop off all supplies, by October 20th, at the East Texas Council of Governments located at 3800 Stone Road, Kilgore, Texas 75662.
