Code Enformcement Training Offered in Tyler

The City of Tyler Code Enforcement Department is hosting a Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) HEP300 Basic Code Enforcement Training Class on January 25-29, 2010 at Harvey Convention Center, 2001 W. Front St. in Tyler. This class will prepare participants for the Basic Code Enforcement Certification test.
 
This is a great opportunity to obtain a weeklong training without a huge travel expense.
 
The class costs $300 per person. Checks can be made payable to the City of Tyler because we will be paying TEEX with a lump sum. You can mail checks to 414 N. Bois D’Arc Ave. Tyler TX 75702 or bring payment with you on the first day of class.
 
Please contact Kristi Boyett if you have any Community Response Officers, Public Service Officers and/or Code Enforcement Officers that need to attend this training. If you know of other officers in this area who need training, feel free to forward this email on. The maximum number of people is 30 so fill out the registration form and email it or fax to 903-531-1397.
