Non-emergency calls should be routed to the appropriate dagency by dialing the seven-digit telephone number found in the phone book or through directory assistance. Examples of non-emergency calls are as follows:

Directory information  - Use 4-1-1
Minor accidents without injuries  - Police Substation
Barking dog - City Services
Power outages due to storms - Electricity Provider
Loud parties  - City Services
Weather and road conditions - City Services / Department of Transportation
Paying traffic tickets - Municipal Courts
For your pet - City Services
For keys locked in a vehicle  - Locksmith
As a prank - 9-1-1 abuse is a fully punishable crime
