Texarkana, TX/AR (TXA)

Known as the “twice as nice” city due to its location straddling the Texas and Arkansas state line, Texarkana is home to Texas A&M-Texarkana and Texarkana College. As of the 2000 census, the city population is 34,782.

Air service is provided to and from the Texarkana Regional Airport by American Eagle to Dallas/Ft. Worth.


Marshall, TX (MHL)

Marshall, TX, home of the annual Fireant Festival and Wonderland of Lights, is located in the heart of the East Texas piney woods.  Marshall boasts several institutions of higher learning: East Texas Baptist University, Wiley College, Texas State Technical College--Marshall, and Panola College--Marshall.  As of the 2000 census, the population is 23,935. 

Marshall has a long history of ties to the railroad; it was once the location of the Texas & Pacific Railway's shops, and a key interchange point.  In 1999, local activists and civic leaders dedicated the restored T&P depot and museum.  Today, the depot is fully staffed by Amtrak.

Recently, Marshall was branded "Birthplace of Boogie Woogie" music.


Longview, TX (LVW)

  22 (Northbound): 6:15P Daily

Longview, Texas is known as "Real East Texas" and famous for the Great Texas Balloon Race, which brings thousands of people to the city to view the assorted hot air balloons.  Longview also boasts its "Alley Fest" each year, which brings an old-time downtown feel into the heart of the community.  As of the 2000 census, the population of Longview is 73,344.

Longview is home of LeTourneau University, Kilgore College--Longview, and UT Tyler--Longview.

Air service is provided to and from the East Texas Regional Airport in Longview by American Airlines, which flies to and from DFW International.





Mineola, TX (MIN)

  22 (Northbound): 5:15P Daily

Escape to Mineola, Texas, a National Main Street city.  With plenty of dining, shopping, and sightseeing, a trip to Mineola allows you to get away from it all.  As of the 2000 census, the population of Mineola is 5,611.

Mineola serves as the Tyler-area stop on the Texas Eagle.
