The Department of Criminal Justice and Public Safety conducts regional planning activities in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security, administers five Criminal Justice grant programs, the Regional Police Training program, and a Regional Juvenile Justice program, as well as the Regional Homeland Security grant program.
Annual grant writing workshops are scheduled at the beginning of each Criminal Justice grant season, usually in December or January. There is no charge for these workshops.
